Hail to the Chief

Chris turned 35 in July. This was a milestone because, as he pointed out, "this is the last big one. Now I can run for president. It's all downhill from here".

I asked if he could wait to announce his candidacy until after the move and his fellowship. I can only take one thing at a time. And seriously, it will take me a while to get the right wardrobe.

Because of the above named events- move and fellowship, not presidential race- we had an abbreviated party with a DQ cake on Daddy's weekend return from Michigan. Maddy took one for the team and tried out the cake. She didn't seem to mind it was a quick store bought find.
